The new trend of placing raised kerbs in the cente of the roads is totally baffling, in that once traffic is stopped at the lights - in this case heading towards St Pauls from Fleet St, or indeed coming in the other direction on this road- they make it totally impossible for cyclists to get to safety (and out of the bus fumes) to the front of the traffic. Travelling up Ludgate Hill towards St Pauls, similarly buses cannot overtake cyclists without forcing them dangerously into the kerb. Please abandon this pointless and dangerous practice; on London's roads where space is at a premium, and must be shared between road users, it is a total waste of space and money.
