This is where the Embankment cycle way goes wrong. It is great (although now too narrow when busy) between Parliament Sq and Blackfriars but east of there the cycle way is north of the busy road which is bad for cars and bad for cyclists. The cycle way should run the river side of the road all the way from Parliament Sq to Tower Bridge
