There's a bike lane and advanced stop box for bikes turning right from Farringdon Road onto the Embankment. That's where the bike provision stops. The on-ramp starts off wide enough for a bike and a car/coach/HGV to pass side by side, and then suddenly narrows down to a pinch point, which is inherently dangerous, before widening out again. This pinch point provides more pavement, but this isn't heavily used by pedestrians. The carriageway should be as close as possible to a uniform width all the way down, to avoid pinch points which put bikes and motor traffic into conflict.
