NCN62 TPT The latest Highways England standard OCT 2016 www.cycling-embassy.org.uk/dictionary/access-barrier states that these barriers must not be used at all, because they prevent access by various types of cycle, as well as other types of mobility aid, including wheelchairs and mobility scooters.These K frame accesses are too narrow and have not been widened to allow bicycle access let alone wide enough for an adapted bike.
