134099Photo #134099Multi-phase traffic light here means very long wait for cyclist/pedestrian lights, because of the delay, cyclists and pedestrians often ignore the lights, creating danger for themselves and other road users. Perhaps a re-design of the light phases, to give cyclists/pedestrians two phases to avoid long delays?Cycleway:

133073Photo #133073There is a cycle way crossing across the Embankment. Unfortunately due to cycleway design, there is a green light shown to cyclists, immediately prior to crossing. The light controlling crossing cannot be seen. Too many cyclists take previous green as safe to crossCycleway:

127686Photo #127686This is where the Embankment cycle way goes wrong. It is great (although now too narrow when busy) between Parliament Sq and Blackfriars but east of there the cycle way is north of the busy road which is bad for cars and bad for cyclists. The cycle way should run the river side of the road all the way from Parliament Sq to Tower BridgeCycleway:

95624Photo #95624There have been thefts from carmelite street, this get's low pedestrian traffic whereas John Carpenter Street is well populated and has 2 major office entrances. JC Street has ample space as half the road is closed to vehicles and would offer greater security to cyclists.Cycle parking:

95622Photo #95622Currently there are 6 Sheffield stands on Carmelite Street. However is it not atypical for these to have 4 bikes tied up at one time, and this number grows exponentially in the summer when the whole of the building is surrounded by bikes tied to the railings. In addition to this, there have been a number of thefts at said location even though there are office windows looking out into the street on street level. Furthermore, there is also a CCTV camera at 50 Carmelite House but this is angled in a position which does not capture the bike rack and as such nothing can be done to apprehend those which are steeling these bicycles. At John Carpenter House alone there are over 600 staff with many of us cycling to work year round, as such having a bike rank in front of our office would greatly improve our ability to feel safe when bringing cycling into work.Cycle parking:
